Linhai is one of the better Chinese makers and they supply parts to mny other brands...
I agree with Alley you won't never hit 100 without a larger displacement and CVT mods...these engines aren't designed to run flat out...it will kill them faster than anything...

Nice.. I like the swing arm and the fact they use stainless steel cap screws for the body...certainly a cut above...

No the bores are different... but some parts are interchangeable. The 125 cc has a 52 mm bore and the 150 is a 57 mm bore

I agree, bad ground somewhere, or a short, one of the hardest things to find on a scooter...get a multimeter ...start with the lights that dim...check the grounds and the switches
What is happening when you apply the brakes the power to the headlights, is finding a different curcuit, a good curuit, so the lights go from dim to normal

Multigrade oils also have better lubrication on start, the thin oil coats faster...you don't see many cars running monograde oil these days...
Multigrade oils reach high viscosity very rapidly and they stay there... superior to monogrades in all ways...

As many know...I'm not a fan of using the T mark... I have seen too many mis-stamped flywheels and it is easy to get it off due to parallax..best to set the piston to TDC, then there is no room for error...

Check the vacuum lines, particularly to the petcock and make certain the spring clips are in place...I have seen defective petcocks fail to close properly and fuel siphons into the carb and airbox.
Run the oil the manual says The gear oil is fine...
Save your money on the performance box... nothing you plug in anywhere will increase torque. An adjustible CDI, may give you a bit. If you want to shift the power curve, start with the CVT, experiment with weights and sliders etc...

Did you hone the cylinder? If you didn't the rings will never seat.

Check to see the air filter and the air tube to the carb is not plugged...I have seen bits of plastic in there...blocking air flow...
