How about a Maxxis? It's OEM on the SYM and I'm at 10K. I do need a rear but it's not terrible. I'm just having trouble finding one. It's a 140/70-16 The Maxxis website doesn't even list a 140/70-16. Have you tried calling SYM to see if they can source replacements? I'm always keeping my eyes open for 16" options for my new SSR.

I wonder if you have to take into account thermal expansion and shrinking. Perhaps at certain temps, it is 20mm, and at other temps it's only 19mm. I have no idea if this has anything to do with it, just throwing an idea out there.

You have a keihin clone carb. It should take the standard jets you can find at any scooter parts store or website.

Of course the timing should increase whilst giving it more throttle. I'm sorry but I don't know of any engine that doesn't increase in timing with power. Like I said there is only one mechanical fix to the advanced timing. 90gtvert on youtube shows us how to do it the real and only effective way. There are three ways to advance the timing I can think of off the top of my head. You should really consider taking a small engine course, you may learn a bit more than you have on YouTube.

You should remember that the heavier amps etc were the better ones. Same as a computer power supply. I means better parts how hard is that to understand. The more current a cdi can put out the better spark exactly. That means more mpg. You are EXACTLY the customer they are looking for. You believe heavy=better, so they add some sand to make it feel heavy. If you like, I can sell you some sand for $10 and you can add it to any CDI you want to make it "better"! P.T. Barnum is smiling down from above right now!

All vehicles that are motorized should have insurance ,,, you bump a La Ferrari out here in socal,,, the repair bill can be pretty eye opening,,, at $1,600,000,,, I would imagine a front fender being $40,000 plus paint,,, ouch,, how'd you like to have one of those and have some putz with a two dollar scooter blast into you? I would be literally rolling on the ground laughing!

....Personally, I do not like guessing when it comes to tolerances. Why even go there when he has a set of feeler gauges right there to check his work? But, to each their own. Curious why you would call this guessing? It's based on math, d=l*a/360 (d=distance moved, l=screw lead, a=angle of rotation). I've been doing it this way for two years now, checking with my feeler gauges each time (not sure why, I'm just paranoid), and it's been on the mark every time. In essence, you're spending money on a tool that does the same thing, but costs hundreds of times as much as a screw. Regardless, as long as you set them right, you're good to go.

When I first started visiting scooter forums, I was amazed by how quickly and accurately Alleyoop could diagnose someone's engine troubles, and help them fix it through methodical methods. A couple of years later...... 1000's of fixed scooters later...... It no longer surprises me.

Dremel makes a plunge router and bit for cutting through acrylic/plastics. The plunge router attachment isn't necessary, but makes clean cuts easier.

I do think it is awesome. Some people have way to much time and/or money on their hands. unfortunately I ain't one of those peoples. I do have quite a few r/c models though. Next model I build is gonna be a ultra light helicopter kit. I have been seriously looking at the mosquito. Roy I don't fly RC planes, but I do fly RC ornithopters. I have an Avitron that looks so much like a bird that it actually gets chased by birds! Some day I do want to design and build my own with a camera, I've built a couple of rubber band models so far, till then you can find me and my bird flapping away on windless days at the park.

Yeah, but I bet he gets some sort of endorsement deal with Peterbilt to show up and different events. I'll bet he could end up paying for this rather expensive hobby that way at least, perhaps even earn enough for a more "worthy" project.

I have a brake light indicator on my 150. It's a red "P" with light rays around it for parking brake, but I don't have a parking brake, and it comes on anytime I hit the brakes. Perhaps my bike was designed for Thailand, the Thai word for brake is phanh.

Nice, that Rocketa windshield looks great! I'll have to keep that in mind, but so far I'm OK with the little windshield, haven't ridden in the rain yet, so time will tell.
Perfect mounting spot for your voltmeter. I'm looking for a couple of decent waterproof speakers to mount there. I have rear-view mirror speakers on the other one, and I miss having some music during my ride.

I think you are still too lean, follow Alleyoop 4TS Carb Tuning Guide all the way through, including the driving tests where you let off the throttle and adjust based on the response. Be sure to give the engine a full minute and a twist on the throttle after each adjustment to let it get used to the new setting. Note- Do this after setting your valves, or you will have to adjust again based on the changes in valve duration.

This is the coolest toy truck I have ever seen. It's a hand built Peterbilt model, strong enough to pull a pickup truck with the operator standing on the back of the model truck!!! AWESOME!
The truck is all hand built at 1:4 scale, powered by a 12V battery, has a mini compressor, real trumpet horns, a smoke machine and a crazy 1200 watt sound system that can rock your neighborhood. There are books and plans available in the comment section of the video on youtube if you want to build one yourself:
I WANT ONE!!!
