Some of us live in a states with laws that require 10% or more ethanol. So this may be a problem for a lot of us.

I've still been checking the post from time to time. Just been fulfilling one of my other dreams. Buildin' a cabin on my lake property. Doing it pretty much by myself.

Hello people, I haven't posted in some time. I have been really busy this year. Also haven't had any problems to speak of. The only problem with the magnum was the plug from the ignition came loose. This was my own doing though. I installed a air horn I got in a hurry and didn't rout the wires with enough slack.

I've pushed mine to 85 on gps and 90 on speedo. Could have gone more but vibration from rear wheels was getting bad. not sure on rpm as my tiny tac died. But by the screamin' of the engine I'm guessin' around 8 grand.

If all the above fails you can always use a chain stretcher. Roy

I got a Hoca 44mm stroker crankshaft today. ;D Have a new head on the way. Already have a jug and piston I was going to use but think I will just order a new set. I have a perfect running 72cc E.F.I engine in the trike now. I Don't really want to sacrifice the engine or the down time. So Think I may Just get a new engine and use it for the new build. This way I can have 2 awesome engines and lots of spare parts.

They sure are fun. But Some times all the little stuff is a pita. On my ride the other day I noticed I lost a rear deck screw and on the left side a bracket broke. More fixin'.

Could be running lean. Possibly a vacuum leak.

Check compression. If it is good it good possibly has bad valve stem seals. But still could be rings. Is there a lot of blow by out of the crank case vent?

What kind of electronic gauge did you get? Is it for auto use? You need to match the sending unit and gauge or the gauge to the sending unit, witch ever the case may be. I have cyberdyne cobalt blue digital gauges in my 94 explorer. I have oil pressure, temp, water temp, volts, and a tach. I didn't get the fuel gauge because it still worked.

How do the sprockets look? They may be wearing out a little. Is it possible the adjustments are slipping? Is The chain out of alinement? Or just cheap chain? I have a little over 1k miles on mine and only adjusted the chain once. It still has about 1/2" slack. I keep it lubricated good also. But will replace it with better chain.
