yes you will need to put the stator from the old motor in the new motor

one suggestion before you put the seal in spead a little grease on the lip so when you start up the motor you dont burn the new seal

i vote for the second one for two reasons
1 better brakes

if you can afford a new motor that is a great way to have it up and going but if not then you will need to keep working on this motor

i dont know it looks like it only has heated seat for the passanger not the driver that is a deal breaker for me

did you put the ground wire back on the motor and make sure your battery is fully charge
